Story
The film chronicles the covert operation launched to rescue 52 American hostages captured by Iranians on November 4, 1979, at the turning point of the Iranian Revolution that overthrew the Shah. Parts of the film, including the Tehran sequences, were shot in a film set built in İstanbul.
